with congressional elections around three weeks away it is ironic that yet again, another terrorist threat emerges out of the media.
This time the chatter is revolvong around NFL games in several cities. This was reported on www.nfl.com and i am sure elsewhere. Even though the threat level indicator ( what a joke) has not risen it just seems conveniant that around election time the threats come out. The republicans are falling in the polls and have reached their lowest point in fourteen years, according to a NBC News/ Wall Street Journal poll released last week suggests, meanwhile Reuters reports that "Forty-seven percent of respondents said they were less in favor of keeping the Republicans in congress".

Sounds like a good time to pull the good 'ol ace out of the sleeve and issue some kind of terrorist threat. With the war spiraling somewhere near out of control the repubs are reverting to a tactic they have successfully employed before. Wheather it is a media or government tactic is unclear in my opinion but what is clear is that someone is afraid of losing control. I may sound like i am out of my mind but why do these threats always appear around election time. Is it merely by chance or is it deliberate. My money is on deliberate. The last threat level change and talk of potential attacks was around election time, everything else was captures and terror cell dissections and thwarting plans of terror. Another story that ran kind of under the radar was a story by a news outlet that Hezbolla had penetrated the american border through Mexico. So it is not just the "chatter" of Football terrorism but now stories on terrorist are infiltrating our borders. These are great scare tactics and i bet they influence the vote more than any ad a congressmen could run.

Monday. comes to fast i remember as a kid that the days seemed to last forever, now that iam an adult - at least in age- time seems to move much faster.

The madden tourney is coming here in tampa on OCT. 29th and i am stoked. I am going to enter but if i can not find away to stop Vick, i wont last long. It seems that he is a monster and is very difficult to stop. It is worth allot of money for who ever wins.

Freespire update

Since the last writing I was able to get my WIFI cardbus working. The netgear ma521 works like a charm now. I had to open up my wlan by disabling the WEP, Not the best thing but since the signal is not available ( i sat in my driveway and tried to access it) outside of my home i am ok with it, especially since this just about completes my transition to Linux full time. Now, if only my online school and job would support Linux i could leave M$ xp behind for good, especially since i own an xbox 360 it was a gift but i must say it does kick ass and i am hooked so getting out of the habit of using thier software is even greater now because thier software for PC'S suck. As i have stated i have used many linux distro's and now i have finally found one that after some minor tweaks works the best. I am not sure why the card did not work under other distros, i was using ndiswrapper with them as well so it is kind of wierd. I also like it because i can play Windows media files, primarily videos which has been a problem for me in the past. I am not a linux expert so it was nice to have this work from the get go. I am going to be redesigning the website using gimp and NVU a free wysiwyg HTML editor for linux. So finally a fully working linux laptop, i am stoked...

madden o7 - saints row

after almost a month of playing madden 07 i have come to the conclusion of, despite some of the minor glitches i love this game.
When i found out that there was not going to be defensive playmaker i was extremely dissappointed, but after playing madden i think that the developers (EA) are bringing this title along nicely. The graphics are just outstanding and even though they have done something never done in a football game before it leaves you wanting more. the puddles and deteriating field are kick ass. Now i want to see the water splash and bead up on thier helmets.The play is much more precise. There seem to be issues with the run and pass commit, as well as getting the DB'S hands up to swat a pass, it is very sensitive as to the timing you must have in order for it to be successfully defended. All in all the more i play it the more i like it.

SAINTS Row
well this is what the xbox 360 needed. I love this game and i am hooked like a heroin addict. Even though it is a GTA like game it does stand on its own two feet. I enjoy being a virtual gangbanger and doing all of the crime, for some reason it feels so good to get out of your car go to the car behind you and just blast them through the windshied. There is just enough weapons to make it interesting, the demolition derby is fun as hell. There are numerous mission types and you never really get bored. It seems that if your just piddling around you will get a phone call telling you that one of the rivial gangs are trying to reclaim thier turf. Away you go into great gun battles. The FPS shooting mechanic is great and allows for some great control when shooting. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys this type of game.

freespire 1.0 linux

linux has just turned an important corner, if you ask me. I have been tinkering with various distros including some flavors of BSD.
What i have learned about linux is that i love it, however some of the distros dont need to be produced. Instead i think a concetrated effort should be made to make linux "just work" if it is to compete for the everyday user market.

Freespire is that effort. Freespire is free open source version of Linspire ( formily known as lindows) that is based on the debian and linux kernal 2.6.14, glib 2.3.2 and x.org 6.9.0.. Freespire 1.0 will challenge the OSS community because in one of its forms it contains propritary drivers that include mp3, dvd playback, windows media, flash plug-ins, quicktime, real player, graphics card drivers for nvidia, 802.11 wifi and some modem drivers as well. The install went quick and painlessly and i had a operating laptop in about 25 minutes.
One of the odd features i have found in my test drive was that the root account was disabled, i discovered this when i tried to run apt-get in the konsole. After correcting this minor oddity i was able to use #apt-get to download the software i want and need. A newb can utilize the click and run feature that comes with all Linspire distro's. Click and run is a subscription service but it does have a huge libary of software available to the end user. For the more linux savay #apt-get works just fine and it does not require a subscription, just some repositories. Repositories can be added to the etc/apt/souce.list and then # apt-get will download, resolve dependancies and install all of your favorite software. Freespire comes with openoffice 2, firefox and some other goodies. I did have to download the gimp but since freespire came with Nvu the wysiwyg html editor i was set.

One of the main issues i have with Freespire is the boot load time. It takes forever but once it is booted the presentation is clean an organized which makes it simple to navigate. It uses KDE as its GUI and for the average linux user it will feel just like any other linux distro. The other issue, although not limited to just Freespire but all linux distros, is a pcmcia wifi card ( a netgear ma521) does not seem to work, even with ndiswrapper. I will probable need to purchase a more compatiable wifi card down the road. So far these are my only issues, which is great as most if not all media plays "out of the box" even windows media files, which any linux user knows can be a real pain to tweak wine to play this stuff. I have posted praises on this blog for suse 10 and pc bsd and free bsd but i have found an even better Linux OS for myself. I am not a hacker nor am i a programmer, no i am just a guy who loves computers and one who wants the most stable and secure operating environment.

Hardcore linux users may be put off because of the ease of use with freespire, but i say to them that it has Debian under the hood and it just works in most cases where other distro's stumble. One does not have to be a geek to have Freespire work for them. It has satisfied me and presented me with a viable windows replacement, although work requires a windows system my other computer is linux and i will not be putting Suse 10 back on it, no i think i am going to go with freespire and leave it at that.

dead rising update

alright so i am a sucker. On its release date i went to the mall and picked up a copy. I love zombie shit i can not help it. So anyway i get home throw it in the 360 and away i go. First the demo did not do any justice to this title. The game is actually more challenging and in depth than the demo showcased. atahe huge weapons list and the varity in which you can kill the zombies is great. The amount of "level up" moves you can earn is great. This title is also very funny. I find myself cracking up over the various things that can occur when combating zombies. for example you can put a pail on their head and wack 'em with a 2x4. The game is gory and is for mature gamers. It contains adult language, adult themes and some sexually suggestive interaction. Although the game is timed it has an unlockable infinity mode. The game is actually pretty large and the psychopaths are really hard. There is enough to do to make this an extremely fun title. i would have been wrong to not buy this game.

360 demos review

i downloaded some demos of some up and coming titles. I started with lost planet.
Lost Planet is a third person shooter about some invasion on a ice covered planet.
Your characther has a pretty good arsenal of weapons at his disposal and some of the weapons are pretty cool.
There is even a large "mech like" suit you can get into for a change in the action. Though this title was beautiful as far as graphics are concerned, i didn't find the gameplay to thrilling. I felt like i had played this game a hundred times already. the eneamies were these aliens types and the one boss that you fight in the demo version was pretty cool, but all do dis run around avoiding the telegraphed atteacks and shoot until he is dead. I had fun for about thirty minutes before i was looking for something else to play.
i will pass on this title.
The next demo i immersed myself in was Saints Row a GTA clone from Violition. Saints Row may look and feel like GTA but it plays allot differently. Sure you kinda feel like they lifed GTA features but there is enough things to seperate SR from GTA. One feature, although greatly restricted in the demo, was the make your own thug feature. It is kinda of a nice touch to such a personal game. The next feature was the "creepin" your thug does when he is walking though the streets in a gun battle. Some of the demo missions were really cool and fun. I enjoyed stealing other pimps ho's to build my rep and earn some income. The cars and driving physics were really nice and one of the cars i jacked even had spinners. The shooting from the car was a blast and the graphics simply kick ass. I was totally impressed with this title and believe it is worth a purchase.
Ninty nine nights was the next in line. Let start with the good. The graphics are beautiful but beyond that the game play was boring for me in this demo. Sure there are hordes of monsters coming at you and you have some great effects but overall it felt like a button masher and i just dont enjoy those types of games. I dont like repeatly doing the same moves over and over again knowing that with one swing of my huge blade i will kill more than half of the assailents. Again it was just a demo, but i was bored within ten minutes and wanted to play saints row somemore.
Finally for the demo i have been waiting for,Dead Rising. I am a huge zombie flick junkie and Dead Rising seemed right up my ally. So after waiting three and a half hours for it to download i load it up and begin to slash away at zombies. The graphics are once again great and the sound is cool especially the eleavator music within the mall. The zombies AI is pretty good and they are just fast enough to catch you if you make a mistake and / or are not paying attention to get you and bite down on you, However as much as i wanted to this title to be great i think based soley on the demo it falls well short of its potential. The demo in all honesty was horriable as far as gameplay is concerned. It does not give you enough to check out and do. There was no map to at least allude to something other than the mall and the surrounding area. It does provide subplots before it ends but if you just go from one end to the other the demo ends forcing you start all over again. Now i am sure based on articles i have read about this title it will have more. Although you can use just about anything you want as a weapon and change your clothes and some other stuff, this game seems repetitive yes i know its about zombies, but there are many other things to add to this title to make more in depth and realistic, i know zombies are walking around and i am asking for more realism. However, Players should be able to block off areas or be able to perform different tactics to aid in thier pursuit for the truth behind this event. I wanted this game to be great, the demo has fallen well short of what i wanted it to be. I thought this would be a sleeper hit, but i think it will lay dormant unlike its antagonist the zombies. I will rent it to see if the demo was just bad instead of purchasing it. I was planning on buying it tomorrow but that will have to wait until after i rent it to see if it is more than just running squashing skulls, yes it is fun and funny in certain parts, but like N3 it just doesn't do the trick for me like Saints Row did. I prefer the immersion into a alternate universe, one where i can do just about anything and make choices, that is what i wanted in this title, choices and they just weren't there. Hopefully this title offers more in the retail version but as it is it is just a weekend rent for the novelty of killing zombies it is not an addition to my game libary at this point. Maybe after a rent i will change my mind but most likely that won't change, it is such a shame to because i had high hopes for such a great gaming concept that was lifted from a master filmmaker named George Romero.

Lost Planet - 6 out of 10 - sweet graphics but i have played this it seems a thousand times
Saints Row- 9 out of 10 - just plain fun and lots of eye candy
N3 - 7.5 out of ten - great graphics but boring (for me)
Dead rising - no rating yet because i am reserving my opinion until i rent the retail version and see what it offers in its complete form, maybe it just didn't demo well.

xbox 360 game review: Full Auto

Alright, i convinced my cousin, a die hard ps2 user ( much like myself) to convert to the 360.
So over the weekend ( i am still a new user myself) we test drove a title called full auto.
Both of use are huge twisted metal fans from way way back. So we picked up full auto from blockbuster with some enthusiaism.

So we get home and the first thing we do is look up the cheat code that will unlock every car and weapon set. then we were off.
Let me start by saying that the car list and weapon combo list are disapointingly short. A nex gen game should come with tons of cars and weapon combonations, but full auto falls well short of that standard. What they do have is cool though but it leaves you wanting more, like a full customization feature, maybe in part two.

The amount of tracks was not very long either, this is also kinda disapointing, the tracks they do have are nice but they could be rendered on a current gen console, so that leaves nothing spectacular in the "oh shit did you see that" department. There is not even a deathmatch feature and that would have helped this title out allot but at that point it is just another twisted metal clone.
Gameplay, while it is always fun to race and destroy stuff, this title got old to me. Drop some mines which to me were the most effective weapon and rat a tat with some machine guns on the car in front of you and in a second your competitors were shredded. Had i been playing alone ( like when my cousin left) i would have only played for about ten minutes (which is the case). Even with the setting turned all the way up this game was just too easy. I enjoyed playing with a human and the online was kinda fun but i wanted more from this flat title.
I hope that when they release the next version ( already in production) they open up some of the features and add more weapon combos, maybe even allow fully customized vehicales and a deathmatch feature with open maps. It just was not enough as the experiance could be matched on a ps2 maybe even surpassed, i would have much rather put in twisted metal black. So all in all full auto is only worth a 2 out of five for me.

i waited for this title on the xbox 360.
When i bought it i got home as soon as possiable, put it in my console and started the story mode.
The story mode is nothing to write about. This game is designed to take advantage of the online play feature.
The online play is where this game kicks ass.

I in two days time put about 15 hours on this game.
I joined a squad for the first few days and enjoyed some great mechinized combat. The combat is intense and the graphix are great. The weapons and customization features are top notch, you can even design your own emblems for your squad. The war that is going on is between three nations and you select which one to be affiliated with. At the end of each war you have an opportunity to change nations and get differeant weapons and upgrades.
The strategy is also superb, with upto six teammates there is many angles on how to approach a map.
I have enjoyed this game and will do so for quite awhile. I am a madden junkie and up until this point could not find a game that i would rather play, chromehounds is that game. Although the story mode is more like a training feature and offers some weapons in return for your time, the real game is online. Everything about this title meets the expectation of a "next gen" concept. I suggest renting it today and blasting away until your heart is content in all the destruction.

Ok, so maybe its from a conspiricy website, but the fact remains that there is "truth in that there kernal".
In a day when all the news covers stupid topics like gay marriage, Kim yong Ill, and other crap the real world spins behind the mass communication spectacle.

They American government is a body of thieves and crooks.
The American people continue to turn thier heads and look the other way while energy prices skyrocket,
our economy is stagnet if not dying, the cost of homes is beyond affordable, our military is abused, the poor can barely afford to live.
This is beyond the cliche "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer". No this country is in decline, actually a nose dive would be a better description. Our leaders walk us down a path of bloodshed and poverty. Those with money get want they need done meanwhile those of us who work hard to support our families get the proverbial shaft.

No i am not complaining i am tired of accepting this reality, when i know there is a better way out there.
I am sick of dealing with these diversion tactics that the mass media employs and i am sick of our leaders acting like they are doing something for us. Because in reality, they are not.
I am not looking for a hand out i just want is rightfully mine. I personally feel that we need to fire every one in the senate, congress, the house, actually if someone holds public office they should be fired. Seriously.
I think we need to overhaul our "great" constitution and place term limits on every public office position. I think we need to analyize the tax langauge because we are being taxed in so many ways i am sure it is violation of our constitution.
We need socialzed medicine and we need to remove insurance from dictating treatment and medication doses. If you work or go to school you get health care.
We need to reform welfare and i could go on and on.
As long as "the jury is still out on evolution" though i guess we are doing just fine. If you belive that then - well we are more worse off than i could have guessed.

I have owned just about every relevent game console that has been in existance. Everything from atari to ps2. I have never had an xbox until now. I got an xbox 360 as a gift and wow.
First i would like to say that i have loved my playstation 2 and i was waiting for the release of ps 3 in november, but someone purchased the premire xbox 360 package. So so long PS3 i have no need for the console now. Had the PS3 been released i would have got that instead but it took to long to release and a loyal gamer and user of playstation products has been converted to M$ xbox 360.

What is even stranger is i use linux for my personal computing and windoze for work - the compatibility is just easier.
So i have purchased four games and a live subscription and i must say that i have been impressed with every game thus far.
The games are:
Madden 06 ( missing some key features from the PS2 version but bad ass none the less)
Oblivion - amazing game i must say that i have been completely consumed by this game for its level of game play.
Ghost Recon (advanced warfighter) - Love it. Just a bad ass game, especially if you have been a GR player and have followed the series. I was excited to get this and i love the game play.
GTA San Andreas ( xbox 360 compatible) - this is an xbox game that plays on the 360. The graphics are not improved by who cares the gameplay is kick ass. I love the GTA series and with GTA 4 coming in a little over a year to the 360 i wait for october.

I am happy with the 360 so far. I have a 55' inch 1080i HD tv for gaming and the picture is great with the HD component cables that came with the package. I have not played a game that i think sucks.
Upcoming games that i will be buying on the day they are released:
Chromehounds
Gears of war
Dead rising
(and of course) madden 07'
Dead rising i hope is a sleeper hit, i can not wait to play this zombie flick game, as zombie movies are some of my most favorite films.
I hope it is everything i want it to be, i guess we will find out in august.

so today is the day that we have come to embrace as the day of the beast. Frankly, this could not be anymore stupid. This article in the st. louis today by tim townsend trys to diswade readers that no this can not really be. to even approach this subject with any remote sense of sincerity is just asinine. Frist, if you think that god exist that is your own issue but to think that some "anti-christ" exists well your more foolish than i thought.

I know that many people believe in god, 84% of americans believe in the christian diety.
It has always been funny to me to here christians talk of other "cults" and the "occult" when they are the biggest "cult" this side of the world. lets compare shall we?

1. Christians believe in a "magical" diety that has granted life on earth to all things.
2. they believe that the earth was create in "six" days - hey there is that number six
3. They believe that eating the fruit has led to all mortal sin in man.
4. they believe that adam and eve lived in a magical place and ate of a magical tree of

I find that those who believe in god suffer from a sickness a mental disorder. our
"cult"ure has justified the belief and those who dont believe are challenged as if it is they who have something wrong with them. I think it is the other way round.

For those that say well with out christian values our country would fall apart, it is what is good in all of us. I say this- i dont need god to be virtueous or just. I can be human with out god because i am human without god. I lead a satisifing life with out god. I have never felt the need to attach meaning to my existence nor will i ever. I find simplisity in this and that s what works for me. SO for the last time leave me the fuck alone i dont want to go to your churches, schools or be your brother. I am sick of hearing about your religion, your beliefs, and how my viewpoint lacks merit because it is not validated by a a belief in god. I think your arguement loses all merit the moment you show your true beliefs.

It is a good site, anyway, what the fuck is up now they have this so-called SUPER POWER secert training facility in L.A. and now they want to move it to clearwater, FL (their HQ). Super Power is a heighted sense of awareness beyond the 5 most of us use. Ok this is getting strange and this cult is growing, they are not as large as the christians but they are growing. In 300 hundred years there could be extreme scientology - hell maybe tomorrow, what i am saying is that these occultist are spreading and like the christians i have a problem with them.

I will start with the censorship. I have encountered my first acedemic censorship since returning to college. It is interesting that when asked to state a position and support that position and you do that you are some how "behaving" inappropreaitely. The position was dissenting, however the information was relevent to the subject and the original question. It seems that critical thinking and alturnitive ideas are still not welcome in the class room. I thought that one of the purposes of college was to nuture critical thinking and support your arguements even if they were in opposition of the class material. I guess that they want good little clones. To just absorb what they are told to absorb and to not question the material because it is a distraction to the focus of the class. Funny, I was always told that if you dont want to hear the answer then dont ask. If, regurgitation is all they want then please state that, tell me to not think and just recite whatever material it is you want recited.

It seems that immigrants ( mexicans ) will stage a large nation wide protest while congress debates the issue. A large scale walk out. To tell congress to grant immunity. I find interesting, reuters reported that they will be carrying mexican flags, shouldn't they be carrying american flags, especially if they are seeking support from the american citizens. To display a mexican flag while telling me that you want to be a citizen is pretty much slapping my american culture in the face. Show some fucking respect. If one is illegal they are a felon, nothing else to say. Illegals are a burden on the taxpayer how? They need to be feed, clothed, housed, hospitalized, educated all the while they are not putting into the system. I am tired of footing the bill for everyone else while i struggle to keep myself afloat. I pay 200.00 a month for health insurence, i pay 500.00 a month in property tax, i pay income tax, fica, and social security. Now i am paying nearly $3.00 a gallon for gas which means my monthly bill for driving to work costs 120.00 plus insurence, which most illegals don't have and that drives the cost up. If you want to be here then fucking assimulate into the culture do not demand that we cater to you , you are no more special than me and you need to pay your dues just like everyone else.

the major news outlets seem to love this Duke story.
Today it was announced that the P.A. was evidence of the date rape drug by having blood and urine tests done on the accuser.

I have not came to a judgement either way on if these guys did it.
I am not convinced that they did it, nor am i convinced that they didn't do it.
It seems [ the story ] that the second, girl is making claims that the drug was slipped into the other girls drink. The second girl is claiming that they called her racial slurs, and in her first statement claimed that she did not believe that a rape occured. Now after talking to her attorney, and finding out how to " spin it to her favor" in an email, she has changed her position.

That I definitly don't by - she will now be able to make book deals, t.v. movie deals, and in general be a celebrity - i think she too is now exploiting her co-stripper, kinda like a rape.

These rich kids pissed them off for sure, does this mean they did it no!
Even if they did slip her roofie, can it be proved that they did - leaves an awful lot of doubt, especially beyond reasonable.
Why - where was she before, maybe she took it her self maybe thinking it was another type of drug - all i am saying is who knows.
This is a hard case to prove because most crimes need witnesses and there sure are a lot of players - who may say they didn't do it.
The DNA tests of the players failed to be evident under the finger nails from the bathroom, there was no DNA inter-vaginially, pictures show she had the bruises before she arrived.
One of those she accused has a pretty damn good alibi with phone records, a cabbie and a bank statement. Unless he raped her first in under 4 minutes, then called his girl, called a cab, went to the bank and then to a fast food joint. I don't know, but if he wasn't accused i could this as him getting out of there before it happened because he did not want to be involved, but to be accused and had to rape in 4 minutes - not impossible men can get off pretty quickly - but i would think that if there is no DNA that means he wore some type of protection, that takes time -maybe 30 seconds, needs time to get chubby, subdue her and if he was the first she might have fought hard, especially if her "fake finger nails came off". This takes time is all i am saying.

I don't dismiss her claim, but i have to say it does not seem to be convining enough, it does not hold full weight and there are too many iffy situations. based on what i know right now from the media outlets i dont think i could convict any of them. That could change if more signifigent evidence is released or comes out. Right now there is too much doubt to actually convince me that they did it.

i, like every one else in this world need gas.
I work to far to ride a bike, and taking a bus is just not an option, i would take a train if a train system was here in the city in which i live, but it is not so ..... i drive. Gas keeps going up and up and up and up... I would like to know where in the fuck our government is so that they can protect us from this con job. They what to stick their nose into every other fucking aspect of our lives, but it seems that when gas is concerned they don't exist. I have heard every excuse from the oil companies, i am done listening..

It is brought to us by the foundation for taxpayer and consumer rights and it states that the oil companies are profiteering and basically rising the price of gas to increase profits. Shouldn't this be regulated and shouldn't the consumer be protected from these types of activities by these companies. I do not know about any one else but doesn't it seem to work the other way when something is purchased in bulk it is cheaper. wal-mart for example can price their items at a lower cost because they sell more or actually purchase more. Why is gas, which is a comodity in high demand, priced so high, should not the demand decrease the price. Why also are we, americans not imploring our government to lead us into the promise land of energy independence. Why are our leaders continually failing us in this capacity. We are a "superpower" , a rich nation with a strong economic backbone, or is all this a lie put forth by those who lead us.
all i know is that if something is not done no one will be able to afford gas, because the prices on everything from home owners insurence, property taxes are high and with the minimum wage isbeing only $5 something major problems loom ahead if not already. someone seems to have failed math and economics and they are now failing us.

U.S. rep cynthia mckinney, thinks because she did not follow protocol, and because she was stopped by capital hill police, which she hit in the head with her cell phone, all happend because she is a black women and claims that the officer did this because he was racist.

In a press conference yesterday her attorney stated that an investigation would be initiated, to determine and prove that all this occured because the officer was a racist and selected her because she is in fact black.

So as i am driving home from work yesterday i am listening to talk radio, which i do just about everyday on my way home i listen to the same show whats odd is i dont even like the shows host i think he is a moron like most talk conservitive talk show hosts - but i digress.

In the news conference mckinneys attorneys stated that all this occured because... yes... she is a black women. I really dont care much about her or her politics but this post is not about her innocense or guilt, no this is about race and how fucking sick and tired i am about hearing about it.

i remember a story from my childhood, it was about crying wolf and why it is bad to cry wolf or fire or whatever immient threat one percieves. I am sick of the race card, i am sick of people who use the race card. It drives me fucking insane she infered that she was guilty of being black in congress but i think what she really did was say that the officer was guilty of being white while in a position of authority.

What the fuck is going on in this world, in the U.S. more specifically. if a black person is stopped or accused of something the opposition is racist, no matter what it can be murder or a simple stopping of someone who fails to identify themselves before entering the building, as well as assualting a police officer. but he is the racist.
Unless there is absolute proof of an incident being motivated by hate then i think the one who crys race is the racist. i am not saying that racism doesn't occur, because it does and it comes in many forms it is not always white on black.
When i was growing up i experienced racism from black kids, mexican kids and hell even white kids.
It always seems that if a story breaks it is always white on black but never the opposite. The picture painted is always the evil white guy, i have met plenty of evil black guys one once introduced me to a 2 x 4, because i was a cracker (well i at least look like one because my skin is white) his homeys and him thought it was funny when the blood gushed out of my head down my face. I could care less what color someone is it means nothing to me, what makes me prejudice is if your an asshole or not. If you treat me less than, that is what you will get in return. In mckinneys case she did not follow protocol and thought she could do whatever she wanted because not only is she in congress but she is also black and if not well they are a racist and are discriminating against her. What i think she failed to realize is that not every one is an idiot, and can see right through her veil of deception. more geekiness - SUSE 10.0

Alright, after being impressed by using the VM_PCBSD, i deicided to get the VM Workstatio 5.0, which i did. Then I went out and got a boxed copy of SUSE Linux 10.0, why pay for a free operating system? Because I like suse linux, as one of my first experiences with linux was on suse some number or another.

the install into VM went smooth and in no time i was up and running. SUSUE Linux sure is making headway into making things "just work". I am into linux, but i have had the learning curve to deal with, as linux is very different than the user friendly M$ we all know and love-hate.
the desktop is smooth and accomidating.
Yast2 made installing rpm files easy, this is were most people begin to get lost. Some software needs to be complied and dependies checked and some other frustrating things get in the way.
This was nice, i downloaded Nvu ( a wysiwyg html editor for linux- and seemingly pretty nice for free + there is a M$ version) and installed it, yast2 made it simple, then i downloaded emule a p2p filing app and that too was installed, yast2 even ask me to insert the main dvd to add in some dependents so that was cool. Launched up firefox and away i went.
Suse 10.0 even comes with real player 10, however at this time i needed some plug-ins to watch .wmv and some other file format media i'll take care of that later another minor issue -M$ has codec issues as well.

I do a lot of photoshop stuff and to be honest i can not live without Photoshop no matter how cool gimp is and it is cool but i use photoshop and i am a snob in that sense so in the near future i will purchase codeweavers crossover office so i can run my photoshop.

Suse has everything else most users will ever need and for the others well there is always a comparable app out there. All of this was free except the cost of SUSE 10.0. I am not against paying for a supported OS, as it cost money to produce a product and SUSE is becoming better and better. I have stated that i have tried various linux distros and i would have to say that this has been the best yet. Sure there will always be improvements but for now i am using my VM_Suse for all of my regular tasks.
Yes, my laptop still hosts M$ XP as the main OS, but that is because in my world of business everything is running M$ apps so i am stuck to deal with that. I really liked the new Suse and will continue my useage of it for all of my basic computing needs and the more i learn and understand the shells and how to control them the better of i will be. So try it i your looking for a cool and somewhat friendly linux.

BSD, MY NEW TOY

well i have tried many flavors of linux and really with no success. I have used them in duel boot systems, stand alone, i have tried suse 8.1, 9.0, and now 10. i have tried redhat, mandrake (now mandriva), turbolinux, xandros (cool distro) etc...

Last night I download PC-BSD a version of freebsd, and i have to say it rocked, i tried it in a virtual environment supported by VMWare (which in and of itself is totally kick ass) and today i have found myself looking at unix commands and how to use unix. i must say that i downloaded it, installed the vw player and in a couple of clicks i was surfing the web using kde's konqueror and talking to my friends on kopete. Needless to say i have not tried it on my laptop yet but if it works i will be so frigin happy. No duel boots, no partitioning, no nothing just clean use of a new and wonderfully free OS. M$ has been my main OS for a long time and like many other peolpe out there i am hooked on its user-friendly features not to mention OEMS and software giants all cater to it. making it difficult for widespread use of these other superior OS. I use photoshop, dreamweaver and flash, as well as some audio software like rebirth and acid and soundforge, yes i know that there alturnitives to these apps but these are the ones i enjoy using and yes i know of code weavers or wine but again they work better in there environment.
anyway, I like what i have seen in the few hours i got to play will bsd and i think i will begin to use it for every other purpose except for when i need to use my M$ main stays. So as i play with it more i will update my blog.

I have known about these tapes that this article is refering to. i try to be an informed citizen, i read tons of news feeds and listen to talk radio at least 5 days a week, i stream it while i work and of course i watch plenty of news television.

These tapes have been out awhile and this article is correct in the sense that no one is talking about this shit. The mainstream media has an agenda, it always has. It has grown into this huge hulking monster that lies to its people by distorting the truth and covering from a distorted angle.

Now i am not defending bush, i hate the fucker, he has done so much damage to this country and i see no end in sight. To be honest i do not think that any politicition will be good for this country.
As far as iraq, iran and north korea is concerned well lets just say this -- russia and china are lurking - the puppet masters if you will, we must trend lightly because i think these guys are going to try and fuck us just as soon as they can. We are spreading ourselves out way to thin.

For those peace lovers and other liberal pussies, your open arms will be meet with dull bloody machetes, with the intent of loping off your head, please wake up. its not what you think - ITS WHAT THEY THINK - and they want to kill us. personally, i would never fight for our government, meaning i would never join the army and fight for thier interest - however, when it comes to defending my right to life, and what little freedom i have - well i would kill for it, without hesitation without regard for man, woman, child- kill'em all - that is how they think, so must i despite my nature.

what else could be better than the sun setting smoking on a cigar beer in hand while ripping through the water at 80 mph - the only thing really would be a girl on your lap with her titties flapping in your face.

so we dock at the first bar me and two buddies, one i am related to and the other is guy from england.
we get around of drinks- let the hammering begin - after about 10 min. i order a round of te-kill-ya shots for everone -grumbling we slam them down.

they beg me to order no more because we are in for as long night of boating in a speed boat aptly named "007" but the beer is fine. i have two more drinks (i ain't the captain). then its off to the next bar which is directly across the street.
the first thing i have noticed is that in these types of bars (located just off the intercoastal waterways here in tampa) is that the customers are differant than the ones i am used too
A) i am not that old
B) we have a party district "YBOR CITY"
THIS GROUP IS ATAD OLDER because it's on the beach the beach is expensive, young people can go to ybor on a friday night and get fucked up cheap -- i mean FUCKED UP!

back to the story-
the women are a little older and the drinks are starting to kick in so -we being guys begin to check out the ladies - (now all 3 of us have left our women at home )-

i have waited forever for it to be released and although its short in running time i enjoyed 97.2/3

they shoulda remade another run dmc track for that......
